A New Dawn?

Well, we finally got past all the rhetoric spewed forth by the politicos and will finally see their true colors. Those of us in the firearms industry had better dawn some cast iron underwear and not bend over because Obama and the boys are coming after us.

In a NRA alert sent to the members of the NRA the headline reads, “Yes we can Ban Guns" and it outlines what the incoming administration plans to do. Back up material could be found on the Obama Transition Website/Urban Policy but this page has been taken down by the powers that be only after a few days of being published. In my opinion this makes me even more unsure what these people are upto.

Given the margin of victory of the president elect I think many firearm owners were sucked in by the fact the man campaigned spouting his belief in the 2nd amendment. I saw a distinct lack of gun control talk during the campaign. Now, before the electoral vote is officially counted, he reveals his true colors. I had my doubts about this man from the get go given his track record as a state legislator. The one thing that caused the red flags to pop was his choice for V.P. Biden has a proven track record as a proponent of gun control and a total disregard for the 2nd Amendment. Life as we know it in the firearms industry will become pretty interesting shortly.
